SAP RAP
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model: CDS views, behaviour definitions, draft and EML inside S/4HANA. Fiori Elements sits on this model. Extending via released APIs is the S/4 side of clean-core.
RAP is not CAP
If the process should not live in S/4, spans several systems, or you have a Node.js team, we write SAP CAP on BTP. RAP is the official ABAP extension in the core; it does not replace a classic Z-report — it forbids it.

Who it is for
ABAP teams extending S/4HANA embedded Fiori with released CDS and Fiori Elements. A classic SE80 Z-report is not RAP; we separate that in discovery.
